Another is to be aware of the mistakes most people in Network Marketing make. If you are aware of them, you can avoid them and be well ahead of the learning curve.
So in today’s post I am going to outline the Top 3 Deadly Mistakes made in Network Marketing…
Network Marketing Mistake #1
The 1st mistake almost every network marketer makes in this profession is trying to sell their business or product.
This is NOT a sales business….
We are in a sharing, coaching & teaching business.
Your main goal needs to be on building relationships, not attempting to sell people on our business.
Your prospects will sense the difference when your just talking to them (building a relationship) verses when you are attempting to sell them on it.
Nobody likes to feel as if they are being sold on something… So starting today, stop doing it and start building relationships. Always Remember friends first.
Network Marketing Mistake #2
Focusing all of your time on getting ready to get going.
Waaayyyy… Too many people feel they must know everything about everything before they start building their home based business.
They want to know all of the ingredients in their product. They want to know exactly how the compensation plan works, etc, etc.
In reality all they are doing is making excuses for not getting into action!! They are afraid to get going.
The ONLY thing you need to worry about when you first get started in this business, is recruiting. Focus your time on learning that skill set and you will have an incredible career in this industry.
And you learn the skill of recruiting by doing it…
Network Marketing Mistake #3
The final mistake out of the 3 we are covering today, is getting hung upon on the results and not the process.
This business is like anything else worth while, it takes time to get good at it.
So the key is to get into action… and start learning as you are doing the deal!
Work on improving your skill sets of recruiting and team building.
Do NOT worry about how many people tell you no or how many people quit.
This is simply a numbers game, and the better you get at it the better you will be able to control the numbers.
Focus on the activities and not the results and eventually the results will catch up and you will see some tremendous growth.
Keep in mind this is a profession, not a hobby.
Treat it like a profession and you will be paid like a professional, treat it like a hobby and you will be lucky to get paid at all. The choice is yours my friend.
