The #1 Difference Between Success & Failure…
You would think that there would be a glaring obvious difference between what it takes to be successful and what it takes to fail.
Now it is true that in some circumstances it becomes quite obvious when observing a person’s lifestyle and their daily activities that they are not interested in success and are definitely not going to get it.
But I am talking about those people who tell themselves and those around them that they want to succeed and really believe they are doing what it takes, when in fact they may be sabotaging themselves and may not even realize it.
Recall how I talk about that in order to be successful we must be committed to the required daily success activities and , that no matter what these must get done.
This is when people start to get into trouble. You see some of the activities that you must perform daily to be successful may not be fun or they may become repetitive which becomes dull for some.
So let’s say you have decided you are going to build a part time business in the evenings while you are working your job during the day.
You come home at night one evening tired and worn out from the day at work, your better half tempts you with the prospect of sitting down on the couch with a bowl of popcorn to watch American Idol with them.
The better half tells you that it is only one night away from the “required Daily Activities” and what harm could it do and besides you deserve it.
What do you do?
Well the person that ends up going on to become a success realizes that if you do not stick to your commitment you are in serious danger of starting a trend. Once you break your commitment to yourself once it is too easy to do it again and again.
The next day you come home from work you will be tempted to let the activities slid again, and so on and so forth and before long you are no longer doing the activities at all.
The person who goes onto to become successful realizes that “If you do what it takes to become successful, sacrifice what you want now, you can have everything you want later”!
You cannot let anything outside of an emergency come between you and your required daily activities for success.
This time is sacred time you have committed to. You made the promise to yourself and this self discipline must be abided by.
The good news is that success when pursued diligently does not take long to achieve, before long you will arrive at your goals and trust me when you get there you will be glad you stuck to the plan!
