4 Strategies to Stop Living Your Life on Autopilot

Do you find that you are doing the same things every single day, never even able to remember what you yesterday or the day before that, not having anything worthwhile to look forward to in your life, existing day to day – but never thriving or Livng your life on auto pilot not happyenjoying your life… if this sounds like you then you are most likely living your life on autopilot.

The seriously devastating thing of living your life on autopilot is that you do not even realize that you are living your life this way…

Most times you are just going through the motions, doing your daily routine you have been doing for years without even realizing it… you may be wishing you could have more but confused about how to get more and not even sure if it is possible for you.

But the truth is that just because the majority of the world lives their lives this way, you do not have to.

You can have a rewarding, happy and joy filled life.

The secret to this is to be aware of your life. Life is a journey and just like any journey you take you need a road map and you need to be aware of where you are going and where you want to end up.

The following are 4 strategies to create your perfect life and to get out of living your life on autopilot:

Strategy #1: First you need to slow down to speed up.

Take time out of the rat race to clear your head. Let go of some of your obligations. You need time for yourself and you need time to be with the people you care about. Take time to enjoy life and do the things you love. Live again!

Strategy #2: Know where you want to go with your life.

Do you have any goals? If not you need them. Goals are simply targets for you to reach. They are what you want to accomplish. You need short and long-term goals. an idea is just a dream until you write it down then its a goal

Find a quiet place and sit down and think about what you want to accomplish both in the short term and 5 – 10 years from now. Write them down. Put them where you can see them daily. And then start working towards their attainment. Baby steps is all it takes to reach goals.


Strategy #3: Enjoy your relationships.

Too many people do not work on their relationships, they do not enjoy them any more and they take them for granted.

When was the last time you did something fun or enjoyable with your partner? When was the last time you even wanted to do something special with them?

Relationships take work and a concentrated effort on making enjoyable. Focus on you relationship, do fun things together. Make it one of your goals.

Strategy #4: And lastly if your life is on autopilot there is most likely a reason for it.

There is a very real chance it is because your life is out of balance. It is most likely because you are too stressed, or maybe just bored with the daily routine, possibly it is because your life has become to complicated, you are all over the place with too many responsibilities and commitments.

Simplify! Cut out the things that are not important to moving your life forward.

Take a day off work this week, find a quiet place by your self and think about your life and how you can get it back in balance again. Think about what it would take for you to love life again. What it would take for you to be happy and excited to get up each day.

Then go to work re-balancing and creating the life you desire.

It really is your life to shape as you please, it is simply a decision to do so. And something anyone can accomplish!
