3 Strategies to Bring It Every Day

Now yesterday I posted a short motivational video by “The Rock” (Dwayne Johnson).

If you have not seen it I recommend you check it out. the rock just bring it

Now I will give you a short warning, if you are not a wrestling fan or like in my case use to be a long time ago… then you may not get his video.

It is short and if you listen to the words he speaks you will hear the message… I do not believe he is putting on a show I believe this is how he lives and why he is sooo successful in life.

He BRINGS IT… each and every day.

==> Successful people bring it…

==> Motivated people bring it.

It makes no difference how they are feeling, what the weather is like, where they live, if they have money or not….

They Bring It daily!

They do what they have to do each and every day to bring them closer to their goals. To give them the lifestyle they desire… to make their dreams a reality.

I Bring It Daily!

And I thought what a great idea for a blog post… lets look at 3 ways I use to make sure I am able to bring it daily.

Bring It Strategy #1 – Morning Personal Development

Each and every morning when I wake up I sit down with my coffee and I read at least one chapter of a Personal Development book like “Think & Grow Rich”.

I have not met many people who have become successful that do not engage in some form of Personal Development.

For me it keeps me on track big time. If I slip up and skip a day or two I can feel myself getting distracted and off track and even less motivated.

There is no question that “What You Think About Expands”!

If you are reading a success book there is a great chance your mind will start thinking about success…

I also spend time with my God each morning, reading the Bible and Praying. This is a crucial part of my day, it keeps me focused and grounded. If I miss this my day is never as good as it should be.

I also recommend that you engage in Personal development throughout the day when you can. Turn the radio off in the car and put in a Motivational CD. When you are at the gym load up your ipod with motivational recordings. Before you go to bed read at least 10 minutes of your Inspirational book, etc, etc, etc.

Before long you will be fired up… oh ho man!!

Give it a try… you will not regret it!

Bring It Strategy #2 – Exercise

Yup… time to get out those work out shorts and laces up those shoes!

Gang if you want to go places in life you are going to need your body working at its peek condition.

If your mind wants to do something but the body is unable to you are screwed!

==> Exercise makes you feel great…

==> Exercise keeps you healthy….

==> Exercise gives you energy… etc., etc , etc

You do not have to be an Olympic athlete to get the benefits out of exercise…  exercise for health

Working out 3 times a week for 20 minutes is a great place to start… work your way up from there.

Myself I have gotten to the point I now take 20 minutes 5 days a week in the morning where I stretch (this has been awesome!) and then I do abs work (Crunches, leg raises and planks), then I will do a quick set of exercises for one body part… this gets the blood pumping and sets me up for the day.

Then in the afternoon I make a trip to the gym where I will run or bike for 20 – 25 minutes to get my cardio in… followed by hitting the weights for 20 minutes or so.

I feel great, I have energy and I am motivated as a result.

If I miss a day from this routine I feel it… and regret it.

Start slow, but get into action and I assure you it will change your life.

On the note of exercise you also need to watch your diet… eating healthy plays a big part in how you will feel and perform!

Bring It Strategy #3 – Stick To Your Plan

What is it you are Bringing It For?

What is your goal? Where do you want to go?

First of all you need to know what it is you are trying to accomplish.

Figure it out and then write it down.

Write it down in many places where you can see it to remind yourself of what you are shooting for.

Then find your plan to get you there.

Anywhere you want to go someone has gone there already… probably many people.

And I would bet you 2 cents that many people have written about how to get there.

So find a book… a blog… or what have you that shows you the steps to take to achieve your goals…

Then Stick To Your Plan!

Do what needs to be done each and every day to get you a step closer to your goals.

Do not let life or excuses, or anything derail you from doing what needs to be done daily!

Life will try to stop you from achieving your goals… but you have to push on… you have to be mentally tough… you have to do what needs to be done…

In short you have to be like The Rock and BRING IT!!
